Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival Vegan Options
The Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival is in full swing at the Disneyland Resort in California.
Before we begin we have got to give a huge shoutout to Annie of (@AnnieMcBeth) and Tiffanie of (@PlantBasedPixieDust) for sending these photos over to us.
There are a handful of vegan options being offered to guests at this year’s festival. Here’s where you can find them.
The options work out to be a full meal essentially with an appetizer, entree and dessert.
One in a Mellon Kiosk
We’ll start this culinary tour over at One in a Mellon where your option is the Poke-style Watermelon with Cucumber ($6.75).
Paradise Garden Grill
At the Paradise Garden Grill you can get your hands on the Impossible Meatball Submarine ($11.99).
This is a full sized entree and not a tasting portion, although tasting portions are available as alternatives by using coupons from a ($56) Sip and Savor Pass.
These subs are filled with Impossible meatballs smothered in marinara sauce and topped with vegan cheese and fresh herbs.
They are served with kettle chips and pepperoncini peppers on the side.
Each sub gets a little Disney flair with a classic Mickey toasted onto it.
Pop in to the Paradise Beer Garden for a craft brew to pair with this.
Dessert is very close by at the outdoor Festival Food & Beverage Cart.

It’s here that you’ll want to order the modified Sweet Apple Empanada ($6.00).
The empanada is vegan as-is you’ll just need to ask to omit the caramel sauce that comes with it.
This is basically a warm apple pie pocket dusted in cinnamon sugar.
The filling is so ooey gooey that the caramel sauce is pretty unnecessary.
