Disney Value Resorts Offer an Abbreviated Menu During Hurricane Dorian

Walt Disney World is a fantastic place to hunker down during a hurricane. All of the power is run underground, so loss of electricity is rare. There’s no chance of fallen trees taking out power lines and cast members are present to “ride out” the storm with guests.

We headed out to Disney’s All Star Music Resort’s Intermission Food Court during dinner service tonight to check out what kind of options would be available to guests during a Category 2 hurricane.

Here’s a look at what you can expect as far as food offerings go during a storm.

My husband and I have been staying at Art of Animation since Friday night. Disney was so incredibly accommodating and considerate! I cannot say enough positive things about our whole experience. In the end we were very fortunate to avoid Dorian’s worst but Disney is absolutely the best place to ride out a hurricane!!

I couldn’t agree with you more. Disney truly is the best place to ride out a hurricane. As Walt Disney World locals, we book accommodations there whenever it looks like a storm is coming our way. Glad to hear they treated you well.
