With just a few days until the official kick off of the 2020 Epcot International Festival of the Arts, Disney invited us out for a sneak peek. Here’s what we found out.
Sneak Peek of Disney’s 2020 Epcot International Festival of the Arts
Because this is a vegan food blog, we’ve gotta start out with the vegan foodie finds.
We already know that there’s going to be a dedicated vegan as-is brat coming to the fest. You can read all about that here: Vegan Bratwurst Coming to the Epcot International Festival of the Arts
At this preview we were also able to sample another item which can be easily modified.
You’ll find this offering at the Cuisine Classique Kitchen in Germany.
Order the Seared Corvina. When presenting your receipt to the cast member handing out the food simply ask to omit the lemon thyme beurre blanc and sub extra ratatouille for the fish.
You’ll get a nice plate of zucchini, yellow squash, tomato and eggplant in a marinara sauce that you can feel good about eating.
The next item we were able to sample was the modified Rainboba from The Deconstructed Dish Kitchen. You can find this kiosk in Showcase Plaza near Port of Entry.
This is a non-alcoholic offering made with sparkling water and topped with a foam cloud. And how cute is the lil plastic Figment commemorative souvenir cup it’s served in?!
We asked and were told that the boba is not vegan friendly as it contains gelatin so just tell the cast member preparing your drink to omit them.
The sparkling water that they are using is Dasani Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade and the fruit foam topping is Fomz Wild Berry.
We were also able to preview some of the event exclusive merchandise that will be released once the festival officially begins. The most noteworthy item being these reusable silicone straws.
You can see more detailed photos here: Reusable Silicone Straws Coming to the 2020 Epcot International Festival of the Arts
