You can find the Grand Floridian Cafe on the first floor of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa just past the lobby. The Cafe is a casual full service restaurant offering traditional American dishes in a light and airy setting.
Vegan at Walt Disney World – Grand Floridian Cafe – Miso Glazed Tofu
This dish is a modification of the Miso Glazed Salmon on the lunch and dinner menu. To make it vegan simply ask to swap out the fish for tofu.
What you’ll get is four perfectly glazed tofu steaks served over French green beans topped with a ginger soy vinaigrette. The dish gets a sprinkling of crushed wasabi peas for texture and a little bit of a kick. Lemon sticky rice accompanies the tofu.
Although this offering seems pretty basic, it packs a powerful punch in terms of flavor.
Just a reminder that this restaurant is on the monorail line and can easily be accessed from the Magic Kingdom by either monorail or even ferry boat.
Often times we’re asked about resort restaurants. The most common question is whether you need to be a resort guest staying at the hotel to dine in the hotel and the answer is absolutely not. You do not need to be staying at the resort to dine at the resort.
Just keep in mind that if you are driving your own vehicle to the hotel you may need to show proof of a reservation to park your car.
