RIP Vegan Chicharron
Vegan Guacamole from Choza de Margarita in Epcot at Walt Disney World
Find this Guacamole at Mexico’s Choza de Margarita Stand in Epcot.
Freshly smashed avocado is topped with mango and pumpkin seeds.
This dip used to be served with a boatload of fried flour chicharron topped with lime and spicy salsa Valentina.
Looks like the chicharron are out and corn tortilla chips are in.
Is this a good switch? Will you miss the flour chicharron?
And can we talk for a moment about the sheer serving size? I mean, it could feed a small army for snack time.
Here’s a hot tip: If you’re indulging in these during the day, purchase them and then walk over and through the La Cantina de San Angel quick service dining area to the super squirrely secret back entry door to the La Hacienda de San Angel full service restaurant dining room for a waterside table overlooking the World Showcase Lagoon in air conditioned comfort.
Because La Hacienda de San Angel is only open for dinner, they use the restaurant’s dining room for overflow seating. Win!
And speaking of La Hacienda de San Angel. Check out our dinner review here: Vegan Disney Food Review: La Hacienda de San Angel in Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion
