Hello from Galaxy’s Edge and Batuu West! I’m out here with my family for a quick Disneyland getaway and when I checked the menu at Docking Bay 7 I had to come here and share this find – a vegan Impossible bao bun at Galaxy’s Edge!
I was all excited to try the Ronto-less Wrap (which I did, and it’s amazing, more on that later) but checked the Docking Bay 7 menu and saw this and HAD to get it! I really wish we had this AND the Ronto-less wrap in Batuu East but alas, we must travel across the land to find them.
On the kids menu, look for the Ithorian Garden Patty Bun: Bao Bun, Impossible™ Patty, Roasted Carrot, House Sauce and a Cuties® Mandarin served with choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small DASANI® Water.
We did confirm with the chef that the bao bun is vegan and the “house sauce” contains veganaise, ketchup, pickle juice and seasonings. I wasn’t a huge fan of the sauce but the bun definitely needs something, as it’s really dry without. The Impossible patty is made with quinoa and garlic. You can taste the garlic and it’s really flavorful.
The bao is only a couple of bites but it’s a good snack and does come with the carrot and mandarin orange and drink.
A fun and different vegan option at Galaxy’s Edge!
