Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa has a rich history within the Walt Disney World Resort area. Before we get to the delicious vegan breakfast sandwich at the Artist’s Palette at Saratoga Springs, a little backstory! Originally part of the Lake Buena Vista village, townhouse-like villas once filled the area, including the Tree House Villas in the woodsy area, which are still there today! In the 90’s the area was taken over by the Disney Institute and in the early 2000’s, all of the dwellings were torn down except for the Tree House Villas. In 2003, Saratoga Springs was born as part of the Disney Vacation Club properties. And that’s a quick history of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort. Now let’s talk about that yummy breakfast!
The Artist’s Palette is located next to the lobby check-in area, and is the food court-like open air dining area for the resort. It overlooks High Rock Spring, which leads to the pool area.
The vegan Harvest Breakfast Sandwich is $8.99 and consists of a Plant-based Egg and “Cheese” Patty with Roasted Red Peppers and Spinach, served on a Sourdough bun with roasted red potatoes. And, it’s fantastic!
The spinach and peppers really make this sandwich, and it’s so good, I’m wishing I had one again right now as I write this!
Even if you aren’t staying at Saratoga Springs Resort, it’s just a quick jaunt over from Disney Springs. You can walk across the bridge from the Marketplace side of Disney Springs and head over to the main Carriage House area from there.
You can mobile order the vegan Harvest Breakfast Sandwich from the My Disney Experience app and pick it up inside Artist’s Palette when it’s ready.
