In today’s vlog my friend Nicole and I head to Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida to taste test the vegan options in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Vegan Disney Food Video – Vegan Options at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge
Our first stop is at my new appointment on Batuu. I kid. But really I wonder who lives here? We pop into Oga’s Cantina where we sample a Jedi Mind Trick, the Rancor Beer Flight which includes the following four brews (White Wampa Ale, Bad Motivator IPA, Gamorrean Ale & Gold Squadron Lager) and a Spice Runner Hard Cider. Beware the mandatory $85 souvenir.
We then sample offerings from Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo which include The Felucian Garden Spread which is vegan as-is and A Taste of Takodana (minus the ranch). As well as the modified Yobshrimp Noodle Salad off of the kid’s menu (sub hummus for shrimp). Very important to order the kid’s portion not the adults portion which has fish sauce.
Then it’s off to Kat Saka’s Kettle for some Outpost Mix.
After that we head over to the Milk Stand where I try green milk and blue milk with rum. Both vegan. We even try mixing them together.
I explain what a Batuuan Spira is. We watch a resistance spy hide from Stormtroopers on patrol. Nicole finds the breeziest spot in Black Spire Outpost. Chewbacca greets guests.
We end with a recap of all the hits and misses. “Bright Suns” = Good Morning or Good Afternoon on Batuu.
