Disney Parks Blog recently announced some menu updates at Galaxy’s Edge on the planet of Batuu (in Walt Disney World). Most of the new items were meat-based, but we did get a unique fruit cup with tamarind sauce that’s totally vegan – at Ronto Roasters. As of right now, this is only available at Walt Disney World’s Ronto Roasters.
Let’s check out the new vegan fruit with tamarind sauce at Ronto Roasters:
Andoan Fruit with Muja Sauce – $6.99
Sticks of Jicama, Cucumber, Pineapple, Melon and Dragon Fruit doused in a Tamarind Sauce and dusted with Peppercorn Ash
Our reviewer said the tamarind sauce was a nice combination with the fruit, just unique enough to make you say, “oh!” So you’ll have to decide if it’s a win for you. In my opinion, it’s always nice to have options, and something unique and not just cut up fruit in a cup. I personally love those kind of flavor combinations, so I’ll definitely try it on my next visit! Having a vegan fruit cup at Ronto Roasters is one step closer to the Ronto-less Wrap showing up on the east coast!
It’s important to note that as of writing this, Ronto Roasters is open from 9-11am for breakfast, and 11am-3pm for lunch. They will serve some items from Ronto Roasters at Docking Bay 7 once Ronto’s closes at 3, but this fruit cup is not one of them.
