NEW Vegan Options at Sebastian’s Bistro

Disney is slowly reopening restaurants that have been shuttered for more than a year, and with it, some new menus are appearing. Sebastian’s Bistro, still relatively new and located at the refurbished Centertown area of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, is receiving a menu overhaul. Previously you could get a Vegetable Curry at Sebastian’s and it looks like that curry will be part of the new menu as well. When Sebastian’s reopens on June 24, the menu will be a family style prix fixe, and we get a vegan option! You can check out the full Sebastian’s Bistro official Disney menu listing too.

The prix fixe menu price is now $29 for adults and $17 for kids, plus tax and gratuity.

Taste of the Caribbean Plant-based Menu:

Our friend @YetAnotherMichelle recently dined at Sebastian’s to experience their new vegan menu, and graciously shared her photos with us!

House-baked Rolls

with Plant-based Guava Butter and Caramelized Onion Jam

Sebastian's Bistro vegan bread

This is disappointing to see the regular gluten-free rolls being used instead of a vegan version of the pull-apart bread that was pictured in the promo photos. 🙁 Disney, do better!

The Spice Necklace Salad

Mixed Greens and Kale with Toasted Pumpkin Seeds, Grilled Pineapple, Orange, Spiced Candied Walnuts, and Radish with Key Lime Dressing

Michelle reported that the salad was lighter with a citrus vinaigrette and the marigolds gave it a distinct earthy, floral flavor.

Taste of the Caribbean

A selection of our favorite dishes inspired by the flavors of the Caribbean Impossible™ Kabob, Fried Jerk Tofu, and Impossible™ Sausage served with Cilantro Rice and Red Beans, Vegetable Curry, and Grilled Broccolini

Plant-based Coconut-Pineapple Bread Pudding

with Plant-based Caramel Sauce and Vanilla Rice Milk

Thanks so much to @YetAnotherMichelle for sharing her dinner photos with us! She wasn’t a huge fan of the dessert, tasted like it was made with the gluten-free rolls. Again, major disappointment there.

Finishing our meal here now and it’s definitely a must do! All very delicious, flavorful, unique and different from many of the other vegan options you’ll find around the property. A very welcome addition!
