You can find this brand new dessert at the Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort at Walt Disney World. Ale & Compass is a delightfully themed restaurant reminiscent of a lighthouse on the Eastern Seaboard.
Vegan Spiced Lemon Pound Cake at Ale and Compass at Walt Disney World
Pictured here is the Mango Torte Spiced Lemon Pound Cake on the “Plant Based” Desserts Menu.
This sweet treat is a delicious lemon cake layered with a vegan mango cream that is similar to a custard.
It’s garnished with toasted coconut flakes, fresh berries, a berry coulis and an edible flower.
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is just a quick walk from Epcot’s World Showcase via the International Gateway entrance located between the UK and France and would be a fantastic option for lunch or dinner when you need a break from the theme park.
You can also access the restaurant from Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park via ferry boat service or you can take the walkway over around the edge of crescent lake.
