Good Morning from Walt Disney World’s brand new Riviera Resort! Today we’re bringing you a review of the vegan breakfast options at Topolino’s Terrace.
You’ll find Disney’s Riviera Resort adjacent to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort on the Walt Disney World Skyliner. The resort is an all DVC (Disney Vacation Club) property, however day guests are welcome to dine at any of its bars and restaurants.
Vegan Breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace in Disney’s Riviera Resort
Topolino’s Terrace is the signature rooftop restaurant at the Riviera Resort serving both dinner and breakfast in a gorgeous setting.
Topolino’s Terrace Atmosphere
Topolino’s Terrace is about the same size and scope as the California Grill on the rooftop of Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
The restaurant has a spacious lounge and an open kitchen.
Breakfast seating options in the main dining room include stand alone tables and booths.
It’s design is modern and offers magnificent views of the Walt Disney World Resort from its large picture windows.
Breakfast has an art theme to it and you’ll find small touches of this themeing like these painter’s brush bread knives on the place settings.
If you’ve ever sailed with Disney Cruise Line you will recognize these from the Animator’s Palate restaurant.
Topolino’s Terrace Characters
Breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace includes visits with the Fab Four. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Donald Duck will all pay a visit to your table when dining here.
Each character is outfitted with a new art inspired costume which continues the themeing.
The star of the show is Painter Mickey! Check out that messy smock, he’s been really busy creating!
His best gal pal is Poet Minnie. Her dress is fashioned from all of her poetry and her hat is adorned with a plume pen and inkwell.
She’s ready whenever inspiration may strike with her journal and ink pen in her pocket.
Her gal pal Dancer Daisy is always willing to give you a twirl. Those leg warmers are EVERYTHING!
Daisy’s main squeeze is Sculptor Donald. All the tools of the trade can be found inside his apron.
Topolino’s Terrace Vegan Breakfast Options
Breakfast is prix fixe here which means it is one set price for everyone.
Each table is presented with a pastry basket fashioned like a paint bucket. None of the pastries were vegan friendly so we were offered the restaurant’s signature Epi Bread (made to resemble a wheat stalk) along with Earth Balance butter and their house made strawberry jam.
We were each poured a glass of POG Juice (pineapple, orange, guava). This is the same juice you will find at Ohana in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Boma in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
We also opted for coffee with plant milk.
Alcoholic beverages and mocktails are available for an additional fee.
There are two entrees to choose from off the menu here. One is vegan as-is and the other can be easily modified.
The modified option is the Fruit Plate. This offering comes with seasonal fruit.
Our gorgeous spread included grapes, pear, apple, orange, banana, kiwi, strawberries, blackberries and blueberries.
You’ll need to skip the yogurt. I asked to have my Seed Granola made with agave instead of honey. There is also a sunflower butter available with this plate but we weren’t served any and I’m not sure if it contains honey or not.
The vegan as-is offering here is what they’re calling a Wild Mushroom Scramble, although it’s really an omelette instead of a scramble.
This is a hearty, savory dish. The omelette is made from vegan JUST egg and is filled with spinach and diced mushrooms.
Breakfast potatoes and a vegan Beyond sausage round out the dish.

We found our character dining experience at Topolino’s Terrace to be top notch. Probably one of the best! We made a rather late reservation 10:30 am to be exact and found that that time slot gave us ample time with each character.
The food was beautifully prepared and we enjoyed everything we were offered. Because this is character dining it is on the pricier side. We paid about $40 per adult.
We would definitely recommend breakfast here.
The restaurant is also conveniently located on the Disney Skyliner route and easily accessible from both Epcot’s International Gateway and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
