Vegan Pepper Jack Cheese Frittata at Disney’s Whispering Canyon Cafe
Check out this new vegan entree they’re slingin’ at the Whispering Canyon Cafe in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
This item is vegan as is with no modifications needed.
Order the Pepper Jack ‘Cheese’ Frittata ($16).
You’ll get a skillet filled with breakfast potatoes, a Beyond sausage, toast and a JUST egg frittata with onions and bell peppers topped with a slice of melty vegan pepper jack cheese.
Our server also brought out Earth Balance butter and jelly.
Though I’m more of a hash brown potato gal, these were some of the BEST breakfast potatoes I’ve ever had. Perfectly tender and seasoned well.
The Whispering Canyon Cafe also knows what they are doing in the Beyond Sausage department. This link had a nice sear with grill marks in all the right places.
The frittata, although not much to look at, contained just the right amount of onions and peppers and was topped with a slice of vegan pepper jack cheese that was warm and melty.
They can also veganize the “all you can eat breakfast skillet here” but this offering was more than adequate.
This breakfast offering is worth a side trip to the Wilderness Lodge if you aren’t staying here. The grounds are gorgeous and we enjoyed a walk around the property after our meal.
