Last October we brought you the news that a new vegan kids menu item had been added to the Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo menu in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge east…the one in Walt Disney World.
Today we’re here to tell you that that menu item has been so popular that Disney has decided to add an “adult” sized portion to the offerings at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.
New Addition to the Star Wars Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo Vegan Menu
The meal we’re speaking of is the Peka Pasta Rings Youngling Meal also known as the Vegan “Meat” Marinara and Pasta during the phase when Disney wars trying to simplify the menu descriptions to make them more approachable.
This dish is pretty simple. It’s vegan ditalini pasta covered in an Impossible meat ragu.
It’s actually quite delicious. And the pasta, usually reserved for soups, gives this dish an otherworldly feel in its appearance.
We headed out today to check out the difference between the kids and the adults version.
When comparing the two the first thing that is noticeable is the size difference. The kids serving bowls are smaller than the adults. Which means a larger volume of food.
Another noticeable difference upon tasting the new adult version is that the impossible meat chunks are larger and more pronounced. Almost like meatballs if you will.
You won’t see this adult sized offering listed on the menu board or online…yet. But there is an option for cast members to ring it up in the POS System at the restaurant. The kids meal will run you $8.99, while the adult meal is priced at $14.49.
