If you don’t act fast, vegan menu items can change on you in an instant! That’s what happened recently at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Out goes the Plant Based Southern Comfort Bread Pudding and in comes this vegan Carrot Cake at Narcoossee’s.
Yep…It’s true…we now have a replacement for the Plant-based Southern Comfort Bread Pudding at Narcoossee’s, a Disney signature dining location in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. That didn’t last long.
Vegan Carrot Cake at Narcoossee’s in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
Narcoossee’s is located on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa directly across from the Magic Kingdom.
Order the Carrot Cake ($13) off of the Plant-based Menu. The dish is completely vegan as is.
It’s a southern style vegan carrot cake with pineapple popping boba, praline croquant, salted caramel and a scoop of candied pecan coconut milk based ice cream.
While we were fans of the bread pudding, we heard that people had been complaining about it being too dry. This carrot cake is super moist and we really enjoyed it. We’re glad that the vegan butter pecan ice cream stuck around.
Time your reservation right and watch the Magic Kingdom’s Happily Ever After Fireworks display from the rear porch or sit in air conditioned comfort as they pipe the soundtrack in.
We’ve got a comprehensive review of all the vegan dinner options available at Narcoossee’s. You can read that review here: Vegan Dinner Review of Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
