Vegan Vegetable Springs Rolls at Lotus Blossom Cafe in China at Epcot
I recently posted a review of the brand new plant-based entrées which have been added to the menu at the full service Nine Dragons restaurant in the China pavilion and Epcot in Walt Disney World.
After sharing a photo of the vegan spring rolls that are available on the appetizer menu at Nine Dragons, I had a few people on Instagram reach out to me to say that they were also able to get the vegan spring rolls at neighboring quick service restaurant Lotus Blossom Café.
Yesterday during our pilgrimage around World Showcase on the opening day of the 2020 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, we popped into the Lotus Blossom Café for research purposes.
Turns out that even though the spring rolls by themselves are not listed on the menu board, we were in fact able to place an order for them.
The official menu board lists Pork and Vegetable Egg Rolls and the only mention of a vegan spring roll is in a kids meal served in tandem with a pot sticker. However, cast members here have the option of ringing guests up for Spring Rolls which come two to an order for $3.49.
So for those of you who are sad that the Lotus House Outdoor Kitchen at the 2020 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival got rid of the spring rolls this year, just take a few steps back into the China pavilion and there they are at the Lotus Blossom Cafe. Served in the same little cardboard boats.
There are even packets of soy sauce and vegan duck sauce available to dress these little crispy fried sticks up.
