Disney Parks Reusable Utensils Coming This Spring

Disney announced today they will offer a new Disney Parks branded reusable bamboo utensils set this spring. Disney Parks & Resorts have made many strides over the past few years to increase their sustainability in the food service department. Actions like eliminating single-use drinking straws in 2018, offering reusable straws for sale, and paper straws on request and offering reusable utensils. Disney parks sold reusable utensil sets at the 2019 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival in a red pouch, and reusable utensil sets at the 2020 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival in a teal pouch. Each of those sets were $14.99 when they came out, and people have been looking for them ever since.

From the looks of it, they will be a permanent release since they are not branded with any particular park or festival. Hopefully the price stays the same (or goes down? haha). Important to note it does say “while supplies last” on the release from Disney…

The ironic thing is exactly zero of the in-park treats also featured in Disney’s announcement for spring offerings, are vegan, aside from some of the drinks mentioned. But we can pick up these Disney Parks reusable bamboo utensils to enjoy our existing vegan treats at the Festivals or counter service locations. We’ll keep you updated if we find any vegan treats, or find these reusable utensils for sale in Disney parks!

Other Reusable Utensil Options:

Of course, in the meantime, you can always mobile order a spork from Batuu at Docking Bay 7 to add to your reusable utensil line-up.

You can also still find Spike the Bee sporks, which debuted a few years back at the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, but are still around for $2.50 at various locations like the Refreshment Outpost:
