You requested video and we filmed it. It’s our first Vegan Disney Food Vlog! And what better subject to talk about than the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival!
In today’s vlog we head to the Epcot theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida for opening day of the 2019 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival!
Vegan Disney Food Video – Every Vegan Option at Epcot Food & Wine 2019
Our first stop is at The Festival Center, located inside the Port of Entry shop, to pick up our commemorative zero waste utensils.
We then sample offerings from the Earth Eats Marketplace which include The IMPOSSIBLE Burger Slider and The NEW Cottage Pie. As well as the Fruit and Nut Energy Snack from Active Eats. In that same area is the Coastal Eats Marketplace where we try the Modified Pacifico True Striped Bass Vegan Tostada (without fish).
Then it’s off to the Thailand Marketplace for the Modified Shrimp and Cold Noodle Salad (without shrimp).
After that we head over to the Islands of the Caribbean Marketplace for some modified Roasted Sweet Plantain Salad (without chicken or yogurt) and give you a tip to find seats in the air conditioning. It was a HOT one on opening day!
After that we sample Madras Red Curry from India and the NEW Spicy Kenyan Vegan Githeri from Africa.
Modified Spicy Hummus Fries (without tzatziki or aioli) from Morocco round out the savory options. Heed our warning here or you might accidentally get “dairied”!
We end on a sweet note with Pineapple Dole Whip Soft Serve at the Refreshment Port and the Modified Banana Almond Soft Serve Sundae (without streusel) from the Shimmering Sips Mimosa Bar.
